Giving Love Another Chance

This is what I invision the cover for this book to look like.

Alexis Scott moved to Orlandria, California almost four years ago, after sending her ex to prison for almost taking her life, to start over and build a life she could be proud of and feel safe in. The last thing on her mind was men and love. She’d already had a taste of what a ‘man’s love’ felt like and she wanted no part of it. She, too, wanted to focus on her work and school so that she could graduate with her doctorates, buy a house and settle down into a well-deserved happy life – as a single woman.

When (Ale)Xander and Alexis met sparks flew, but both were so hell bent on keeping love at a distance, and far away from their hearts, that they blatantly ignored the magnetic pull they both felt the moment they met. When unforeseen circumstances force the two together, like Alexis being the eyewitness in a triple homicide, both Xander and Alexis are forced to recognize that there is something brewing between them whether they like it or not.
