Just in case anyone was wondering…
No, I don’t listen to R. Kelly’s music, I haven’t in a while. Even before everything came out in the media, I’d not listened to it in a while. I do, however have family that still listen to his music. What can you do?
Anyway, the ONLY reason his name is mentioned in ch. 24 of The Billionaires Revenge is because while I was writing the first part of the chapter, the song When A Woman’s Fed Up literally just popped up in my head. It goes with the concept of how fed up both Tori and Donté are of all the bull crap they’ve suffered through at the hands of Angela. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON! It literally just popped up.
I do not wish to offend anyone or make anyone uncomfortable - it’s just a song that popped in my head. That’s all. There’s no double meaning behind it or anything like that. It’s a song that just so happens, unfortunately, to be written by a man, or others, whose done some f*caked up things.
I thought I would just clear that up just in case anyone was wondering where the hell it came from. I even rephrased Ryans comment about the lyric.
P.S Please try and remember that this is just a book and that I literally write what comes to mind. I do try my hardest not to write and post every single thing that conjures itself into my mind because I don’t want to piss anyone off, but I’ve realized that people will still get offended no matter how much I try to PG17 it. (Yes, I meant PG17) So, sometimes, I say screw it and write what I want because no matter what someone is going to flip a lid - I mind as well write what I want.
